I upgraded to the paid version of W3 Total Cache to use FSD (Full Site Delivery). I have it enabled and set up correctly with MaxCDN, but as I’m not seeing any difference I decided to check with W3 Total Cache support for info on how to confirm it is working. After a few days I was advised:
Thank you for using W3 Total Cache Pro.
FSD means the entire website is coming from the CDN, including HTML. We are not sure where complete pages are stored. You should contact MaxCDN support so they can assist you further on this matter.
So I checked with MaxCDN and they immediately responded to tell me:
I apologize but we only serve static files and not the entire site
Does anyone know what exactly FSD is doing? I was led to believe my whole site would be served from a CDN.
