Hi Guys,
We are having problem with one of my clients sites getting indexed.
I spoke to the web design company, as I think it could have something to do with the build. This was their response:
Our developer and head developer have spend some time looking at the issue and it appears that there is "Malware" on the website. After reading through the code we believe that the mal-ware was introduced from a website plugin.
After further research we believe that we have identified the plugin as "W3 Total Cache". We cannot 100% confirm that this is the malwear however we do believe that is the issue. Additionally looking at this link we have found people discussing the possibility that this plugin can have some issues such as the one we are experiencing: http://www.theme-zoom.com/general/hacked-wordpress-plugin-w3-total-cache-may-be-compromised/
Dan, here is the code of the script:
Name of the plugin: W3 Total Cache
Script found on SOME pages
[hack code removed - please do not post that here; use a pastebin if you wish to share it]
What do you guys think?
And if possible, can someone help with this bloody indexing issue!! lol, its killing me (only the gallery and a selction of other pages are indexed)
Cheers,
Dan
