Upon installing and activating W3TC 0.9.2.11(hosting on Bluehost), I get the following error messages:
'FTP credentials don't allow to write to file /.htaccess'
'W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.'
Shouldn't the path to .htaccess be '/home1/sitename/public_html/'? I have been trying to figure this out for hours upon hours and I can't seem to find a solution. After trouble shooting over the phone with Bluehost to no avail, I submitted a support ticket. In the meantime, I figured I would keep at it. Has anyone experienced this?
