I had this problem with my client's website, and that's included in bug #2 in the original post.

When Minify is fixing the css, it grabs (by fault, thus a bug) the last absolute URL and applies it to the rest of the relative URL's.

What that means is, when you have google fonts, and plugins in your setup, the CSS will point to your images on google's servers - as if they are your own.
Of course Google doesn't store the images that are on YOUR blog ;)

The quick-fix for that is to set minify to manual and order the CSS files so all external CSS is loaded last.

Ok, I see. I will try to figure out how to do that. But as it seems there is one more(new) bug :) For some reason when I have minify on, the mobile version of my theme does not appear. Plus for some other strange reason, site is slower than ever, loading for ever..

p.s. I had to turn of minify for now, since now the server was returning error when I have it ot. Totally weird.

The mobile version doesn't appear probably because of the CSS minify bug.. (your website is responsive - meaning it will resize according to how big your screen is, so for mobile, it will adjust everything for a mobile)

I would look into configuring Minify by hand.

Same situation here. Well i have enabled HTML Tidy extension and memcache from easy apache (VPS Linux). Login to WHM > Click Apache Update > Start Customizing Based on Profile > Apache version > Click Next Step > Select PHP 5 > Click Next Step > Click Exhaustive Options List button > Checked on memcache and Tidy ( Well, I have not found any option for Opcode cache and Mime type detection) > Click Save and Build.
Still have issue with memcache (W3TC Compatiblity Check Memcache extension: Not installed )

Now W3TC "Compatability check" says :

Installed: Functionality will work properly.
Not detected: May be installed, but cannot be automatically confirmed.
Ok: Current value is acceptable.
Yes / No: The value was successful detected.

Hi,
Great plugin, really sped up our site compared to wp-super-cache.

We have a multisite. We are looking to cache a homepage for one of the subsites, but entering the full URL does not seem to work. Our main site is like this:

http://www.domain.com

Our subsite is like this:

subsite.domain.com

We have placed the following into the 'Never cache the following pages' area to no avail (of course using the actual URL):

subsite.domain.com

and then tried this

http://subsite.domain.com

and then

http://subsite.domain.com/

Please help so I don't have to empty that page's cache every night at midnight, so that their open and close times are accurate :)

I am having trouble determining why W3TC is telling my Varnish server to PURGE the string "/.*" (aka dump the entire cache) periodically. The time interval does not seem to be constant, nor does the frequency. I noticed my cache was being dumped at least once per day so finally I just sat down and watched the logs until I witnessed a PURGE command for "/.*" originating from W3TC.

I started poking through the plugin code and I was able to prevent the plugin from ever again purging the entire cache at once. Purging individual posts/feeds/archives/etc. still works fine. I replaced the line that would dump the cache with an error_log() statement and I can tell that W3TC is still *attempting* to dump my cache 1-2 times per day. I am confused as to what WordPress action is triggering W3TC to send this PURGE command targeting the entire cache.

Frederick, or anyone else who is familiar with the inner workings of W3TC: What are the situations that would cause W3TC to flush the entire cache like this?

Just wondering...anyone get any support here? I see everyone has valid issue and no response what so ever. So, all the free users websites kind of used, as a test bed and the premium subscribers get the fix. If no support available they can clearly say so.

once befor in WP 3.8.2 it crashed my whole website with 500 error,

Just triple check again in the same server with the same settings on each domain, same wp version 3.9 same plugins w3tc 0.9.4, only one of my sites the oldest one doesn't allow me to select "Set Expires Header" its disabled, please Frederick Townes, help us with this issue.

+1 does not automatically flush in designated time and does not automatically recreated minified files. The specific page was break, need to manual refresh page and clear the browser cache to check.

And some minified files created was missing "gzip" end of the files name.

Hi Musicwik,

Open your PHP.ini file located in WHM easily by typing in the Search box php.ini. Edit PHP.ini and click Advance > find here "Disable_function". copy/cut all functions from the field. save it and then check.

Basically this module use some PHP special function which actually considering security risk so that is why its not detected.

once you satisfy that all is showing fine you can just redo he changes so your system will keep prevent danger PHP functions.

hope it helps peoples who looking for this.
