After purging CDN completely, CSS theme is lost

Hello,

I recently updated to the most recent version of WP, and updated all my plugins as well, including W3TC. I then emptied all caches, and opt to purge my CDN completely as well.

Now the CSS theme (hosted on the CDN) does not load at all. Is there a way to troubleshoot and fix this?

Many thanks!

Reason for cron errors?

I just installed WP Crontrol to get more info on what’s happening.

First off, the top of the plugin page shows “There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron events on your site may not work. The problem was: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 3001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received“.

1. Problematic intervals:

For these three “names”…

– w3_cdn_cron_queue_process ([W3TC] CDN queue process (disabled))
– w3_cdn_cron_upload ([W3TC] CDN auto upload (disabled))
– w3_fragmentcache_cleanup ([W3TC] Fragment Cache file GC (disabled))…

WP Crontrol’s “Interval” column reads: “0 (now) This interval is less than the WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT constant which is set to 60. Events that use it may not run on time.

see https://i.imgur.com/dD5tKTJ.png

FYI, I’m not using any CDN.

Other W3-related names (w3_dbcache_cleanup, w3_objectcache_cleanup, w3_pgcache_cleanup, w3_minify_cleanup and w3_pgcache_prime) each show with the relevant time interval.

2. Event listings:

In WP Crontrol’s list of actual “Cron Events”, the W3-related hook w3_fragmentcache_cleanup shows with “None” in the action column.

see https://i.imgur.com/smaTioh.png

Of the other W3-related hooks (w3_objectcache_cleanup, w3_dbcache_cleanup, w3_pgcache_prime, w3_pgcache_cleanup, w3_minify_cleanup), they do not show a problem.

What is going on here? Something doesn’t seem right, and I wonder whether that relates to my general W3 issues.

Hi there!
I installed W3TC in an mu network (by subdomain). The main page worked fine. But I cannot change settings in Performance > CDN but there is the need to create a new distribution because of another origin (subdomain). How do I do that?

Minified CSS has calc function broken

Hello,
in my CSS I have some “calc” functions.
When I minify the css the spaces inside the calc function are removed, invalidating the css rule!
I have seen that others users has already asked for this problem, but I am using the 0.13.3 version and that threads are really old.
Thank you, Nicola.

Login issues after installation

Hi, I have been using this plugin, but I have a problem.

Sometimes when you log in, it doesn’t show the correct logged on version of the site, but the pre-login page. The admin toolbar doesn’t show, and the login button is visible. You can see that you are in fact logged in by going to another page, but the front page and/or the page where you were before you logged in don’t work.

The issue is fixed when you delete the browser cache. How can I fix this. Thanks!

Is .webp format supported yet? I looked at this old thread, which was marked as resolved, but all of the answers just kept saying “We’re working on it”.

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/webp-and-cdn-support/

Last comment was 10 months ago. Has there been a fix yet to allow .webp formats to be used? I am using Imagify plugin to convert .jpg and .png images to .webp.

Thanks!

Olá turma

Eu instalei o plugin w3 total cache e fiz uma conta na cloudflare.
Alterei os nomes de servidores DNS e tenho a chave API na cloudflare.

No plugin W3TC instalei (ativei) a extensao cloudflare.

No menu CDN não consigo autorizar as credenciais da cloudflare, pois abre um campo suspenso pedindo e-mail e chave api. Quando eu insiro o e-mail e chave api me aparece a resposta : NÃO É POSSIVEL AUTENTICAR: CABEÇALHOS DE SOLICITAÇÃO INVALIDOS.

Alguém pode me ajudar?

Configuring Redis

Thanks for the great plugin and support!

I have followed the [FAQ in GitHub]

I am using AWS ElasticCache. I am able to ping the hostname using redis-cli on my server. However, from the guide, I was asked to modify /ini/config-db.php, but I couldn’t find it. So, I modified /ini/config-db-sample.php and copy it to /ini/config-db.php as well.

define( 'W3TC_CONFIG_CACHE_REDIS_SERVERS', 'xxxx.redis.cache.amazonaws.com:6379' );

But the settings still have the redis grayed out.. What else should I do? What did I miss? Please advise, thanks!

CSS is unable to locate my font file when I enable CSS auto minify.

It’s trying to request

example.com/wp-content/cache/webfonts/fa-brands-400.ttf # I looked, no webfonts folder in cache
example.com/plugins/woocommerce/assets/fonts/star.ttf # It missed /wp-content

What is causing these problem?
If unable to fix, how can I debug which css file is it coming from and don’t minify them?

Maybe the css that’s causing the problem url(../../../../../../../plugins/woocommerce/assets/fonts/star.woff) that is located in example.com/wp-content/cache/minify/4d8f1.css.

Incorrect CSS minification for inline SVGs

Good day,

I have CSS files, where I’m using inline SVGs as data images.
And if any hash(#) symbol exists, it will be prepended with theme path, what is wrong.

I have this SVG image:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<svg width="50px" height="50px" viewBox="0 0 50 50" version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">

        </linearGradient>
    </defs>

Because of this bug I just can’t use any CSS minifications with this plugin.
I think it is a bug, I’m really waiting for the fix.

I followed yours docs, also the methods given in this link https://docs.bitnami.com/google/apps/wordpress/configuration/install-modules-php/ but still the plugin is not able to detect these extentions. what is the exact method of installing these extentions on the server.
I am using Debian.
I am using community website and so page cache is less useful and so I want object cache to be used.
Awaiting your quick response.

Hi,

I just noticed today my post & page’s description in google is completely different & meaningless, of what I have added using Yoast SEO.

I checked into my source code and found,

the quotation mark missing from the description meta

and google always checks the description of the page or post using the description meta.

But when I deactivated the w3tc plugin, the meta description was back to normal.

Why is this happening, how can I get the quotation mark, even while using w3tc plugin?

Please help me with this issue, I love your plugin’s optimization, but it’s affecting my SEO, too.

Thank You.
