Is W3TC well working if XMLRPC.PHP Disabled?

Hello i got tens of thousands xmlrpc.php request from 119.29.82.97 in my server log. Its make my site down for awhile, so i disable it file.

It’s W3TC will work fine if i disabled XMLRPC.PHP?

When I got to W3 Total Cache > General Settings > Compatibility Test I see the following:

When I contacted my server (hosting) company about this, they said all of these are enabled on the server but I need to ask W3 Total Cache for the code to add to my .htaccess file in order for these settings to be recognized by w3 Total Cache. Please advise.

Unable to find CDN url for an image on wp-admin

We are using Azure CDN for our W3 Total Cache CDN provider.

When I click on an image in the media library, I am not able to find the path to the image on the CDN. All I see is the path to the image on the server, but my authors need the CDN url. Would be very help if the image in the media library provided that.

Is that available and I just don’t know where it is?

Failed to purge

Cannot see images media library

Hello!

I’ve just started working for an organization, their blog is made with wordpress and W3 total cache is installed. Doing some work for them on metatags I purged the web’s cache using the W3 total cache plugin and now, when writing a post and accessing the media library, no new images are displayed. The website has also a WPML plugin and, in the main language of the website you can see the previous images (never the new ones uploaded) but in other languages (spanish or english) you can’t see anything. This only happens on posts and not on the media library per se.

Extra info, the wordpress they are using is quite old 3.8.1 and the php 5.5.3-1ubuntu2.6., I’m trying to make an upgrade but everything is quite slow.

Wordfence is altering me to a potential malicious file at: wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/****/login/_index_ssl.htm

I’ve seen a previous post and one of your colleagues so that this file can be deleted and it wasn’t malicious. I have tried deleting this file, but it keeps get regenerated? Can you help me, please?

Quotation marks deleted

Hi there.

I, like many others, am embarrassed by the loss of my quotation marks. Some tools doesn’t read the href attribute without the quotation marks.

So why not make it optional to delete the quotation marks?

And right now, what can I do to keep the minify system without losing my quotation marks?

Is there any need to delete them BTW?

Trouble with plugin and images

Hi,
I am having terrible trouble with this plugin. It is great for my site but I keep having problems.
If I select certain settings in minify my images wont load on homepage or shop page. I have to turn settings off and back on one at a time.
Now when I move an image on home my top image will not display. Only way to get it to show is to disable w3.
What is the problem? It is very frustrating and time consuming.

Hello, I have some doubts with the configuration. Can you help me please?

Database Cache should be used only if Object Cache is not possible? I shouldn’t enable both options right?
How do I know if my site uses the Object Cache API?

I use CloudFlare, do I need to install the extension? Minify is enabled in W3.

RSCF cdn settings not saved in multisite setup

I’m trying to setup a cdn via rackspace cloudfiles.

If I continue the setup wizard and press save after picking the correct container, I get a success message, but the data (user, api token and container) seems not to be saved.

No data is shown and the Authorize button is still visible.

My setup:
It’s a multisite setup
I have the latest wp (5.4.1) + the latest version of this plugin (13.3)
I selected Rackspace Cloud Files in the General Settings

I don’t see any error message that can explain me where to go.

Can you point me into the direction of how to fix this issue?
I would really like it to make this work!

How to tell if w3tc_flush_post is working?

Hello,

I need to clear the cache of a couple pages each day at a specific time. I’m trying to do this by executing some PHP via WP Crontrol plugin. This is the PHP I’m using:

How can I tell if w3tc_flush_post actually worked?
Secondly, can w3tc_flush_post accept multiple post ids and if so, how?

Adsense Ads Not Appearing

Hi I am using W3Total Cache plugin. I have enabled adsense ads. But the ads are not appearing properly. Sometimes the ads shows up and sometime no ad is shown.

When i disable this plugin then ads come back.

After update NO more images are displayed!

Since the update to version 0.14.0 NO imagesappear on my site anymore! All are gone! The cache was cleared and rebuilt – no solution! What’s that about?

Without cache all images are displayed, on cached pages no more images are displayed, each image shows as source:

data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=’http://www.w3.org/2000/svg’%20viewBox=’0%200%20602%20278’%3E%3C/svg%3E

How could you publish such an update?

Updating to 0.14.0 leads to 404 error for images

Good evening,

I’ve just updated W3TC to 0.14.0 and I’m getting wrong urls for css background images in elementor pages, resulting in images not displayed and 404 errors.

i.e. /wp-content/uploads/elementor/css/https:/www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/myimagename.jpg:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

Relevant plugin installed: Elementor 2.9.9, EWWW Image optimizer 5.3.2

Disabling css minification ( or W3TC ) solves the issue, but I’d like to keep it enabled!

Background Images Disappear After Updating To v0.14.0

After updating to updating to v0.14.0 the background images have disappeared from my live site. This problem has occurred on two different sites.

This first site was likely a plugin conflict between the W3TC’s Lazy Load and WebP Express, as disabling WebP Express resolved the problem.

However, the second site I’m having trouble with does not using the WebP Express plugin and does not have W3TC’s Lazy Load feature enabled. To resolve the problem I have had to deactivate W3TC.

The site constantly throws this error. It seems that Woocommerce was trying to update its plugins. Also, I can’t update Woocommerce from dashboard. I never had this issue before installing W3 Total Cache plugin.
FYI, Minify is disabled.
I had this E_COMPILE_ERROR error with Customer Reviews plugin, so I disabled it previously.

Horizontal Scaling

Do you have any documentation regarding using your plugin on a site with multiple instances running? I have a WordPress site running on multiple nodes, sharing the same database and storage for common files. When using W3TC, how can I share the configuration between each node? I notice that when I make a configuration change on one node, it is not available on the other node. That tells me that the settings are not stored in the database. In the unlikely event that the site needs to scale horizontally to additional nodes, what actions would I need to take to ensure that the W3TC configuration is populated on the new node?

why is it necessary to manually disable the option “Anonymously track usage to improve product quality” in the general settings again and again? After the last update this function was enabled again, although I had disabled it. As a user, I would also like to be asked whether anonymous data may be collected – without consent this should not happen automatically.
