0.9.5 Update Kills Website

Hi

I’ve just updated to 0.9.5. Which immediately breaks the site

Warning: require(F:\webs\[mywebsite]/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib\Google/Service/Gmail.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in F:\webs\[mywebsite]\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\w3-total-cache-api.php on line 143

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘F:\webs\[mywebsite]/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib\Google/Service/Gmail.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php\pear’) in F:\webs\[mywebsite]\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\w3-total-cache-api.php on line 143

The only way to fix was to manually delete the plugin folder plus db.php and advanced-cache.php

I have the following plugins active

AMP
Contact form 7
FooBox Image Lightbox
Gmail SMTP
Mailchimp for WordPress
Popup Maker
Really Simple CAPTCHA
Responsive Add Ons
Simple Share Buttons Adder
Woocommerce
Yoast SEO

There are a couple of backslashes in line 65 of w3-total-cache.php that are generating a fatal error.

EDIT – On further looking, the zip file is riddled with files with backslashes, mainly in class names.

What to expect from the WPML Extension?

Hey,

I am using WPML on my website with one additional language served via Subdomain. I am considering upgrading for the WPML-Extension, but I can’t find any info on what exactly to expect from it. What will be the benefits in comparison to not using it when running WPML?

Also, I am using CloudFlare as CDN and since a week or so, I suddenly have the issue of the website serving CLoudFlare’s rocket.js from the main- and simultaneously from the sub-domain. I don’t really get why CF is doing that, but this decreased my scores (“Serve resources from a consistent URL”) – will the WPML Extension take care of this?

Cloud Flare Extension Issue

I can no longer verify with cloud flare with the new update. This due to the new way to authorize with cloud flare only displays the first 20 sites that are in cloud flare. This an issue for me due to having hundreds of sites in cloud flare. Can you fix this issue in a future release or is their another way around this besides not updating the plugin?

added SSL and changed the www to non www problem

I am configuring SSL on my website http://www.brrlaw.com but my certificate is only for brrlaw.com (withtout the www) so I edited the htaccess file of my wordpress installation to redirect to https://brrlaw.com from www but when I visit my homepage it redirects me to:

http://www.brrlaw.com/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/www.brrlaw.com/_index.html_gzip

now I empty all cache using w3 total cache and reverted back all the changes I made in my htaccess but it doesn’t fix the problem it still redirects me to that URL.

and when I visit the website from another computer http://www.brrlaw.com redirects to https://brrlaw.com which I have configured earlier. I have cleared the all the cache but it still redirects to https://brrlaw.com when it should be back to http://www.brrlaw.com withouth the /cache/page_enchanced/….

btw all pages are fine except for the homepage, w3 total cache Version 0.9.4.1

Could you push the previous version with a higher version number out as a temp fix so you have the time to sort out the problems related to the latest update?

Upgraded to WordPress 4.6.1 getting Fatal error

I just upgraded to WordPress 4.6.1 and now when I go to wp-admin I receive the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_get() in /home/jewishc5/public_html/fedweb/wp-includes/option.php on line 1117

Redis DB Instances – Fail

As I have multiple WordPress builds all running on the same server, either NAMESPACING or DBID is a must.

Currently the SET “Redis Database ID” seems to do nothing, as it does not WRITE to that DB ID (but instead chooses by BUILD order…so the first site setup was given 1…second was given 2…etc etc).

This would be fine … if on PURGE the DB ID stayed the same … but as you’d imagine it does not.

So because of how DB and Object caching work, Website ABC … has pieces of Website CBA … and Website XYZ has pieces of CBA…etc etc

Please verify that the SET DBID actually works. And please also (for safety purposes) modify the “KEY” name to either include this DB ID or add some type of GLOBAL ID value.

Obviously “Multi-site” provided the “Blog_ID” … but for those who are not using Multi-Site there needs to be a more robust solution.

error message from W3 Total Cache even though it has been deleted

I used to have W3 Total Cache installed on my web site but it doesn’t appear in any of my plugins. However I just updated a number of my plugins and suddenly got this message on my website

files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /hermes/walnaweb09a/b1426/as.peteralt3/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /hermes/walnaweb09a/b1426/as.peteralt3/wp-content/db.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. I tried to re-install the plugin but got an error message

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /hermes/walnaweb09a/b1426/as.peteralt3/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/

Plugin install failed.

What do I do now?

NextGen conflict

I recently upgraded W3TC and my NextGen slideshow stops working when people are not logged in. The slideshow works fine if people are logged in. It seems that jQuery is being affacted.

When I deactivate W3TC everything works fine. Please investigate and advise of a fix. Thx

DB Cache Sitemap

I noticed that my APC cache is filling up with some very large database cache objects, I have a pretty standard configuration with Yoast SEO sitemaps as recommended. The issue is that the Page Cache primer requests all the sitemaps and W3 Total Cache is caching the database queries and the sitemaps as objects. Yoast SEO queries the entire post content for every post in the site which is very large.

The easiest solution I can come up with is to add a query regular expression in “Reject Query Words”?

/bSELECT l.ID, post_title, post_content, post_name, post_parent, post_author, post_modified_gmt, post_date, post_date_gmt/b

Any better suggestion?

Analytics conflict post update

W3 and google analytics worked fine on all my sites but either you or “Google Analytics Dashboard for WP” seem to have released an update which is stopping analytics dashboard from now working.

I tried to disable W3 and it corrupted my site leading me to need to delete the plugin and reinstall. It is back up and running again but there is still a conflict there.

Server Error 500 when Page Cache is enabled

I’m getting a Server Error 500 when Page Cache is enabled.
My server’s error log shows this:

    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting end of file in /home/mydomain.com/fghgh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/PgCache_ContentGrabber.php(1460) : eval()’d code on line 1
    PHP Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0

I’m using PHP7. Can this be related to this?

The plugin’s author says that is compatible totally with WP4.6.1 but doesn’t say what is not compatible. You will know only after installation. Fatal error is possible.

in my WP Site, there i a big problem with this plugin: W3 Cache total.
I cant make a Backup or anything. I can work, but the message:

Current version does not upload multi-site files

I had to downgrade the plugin in order to get the ability to upload my subdirectory site themes and include files to upload. I don’t like running a version with a XSS bug, but I need my subsites to be able to upload their files and for the site to function.

Please fix 0.9.5 so I can update to get the security fixes.
