We updated the W3 Total Cache plugin to the last version v0.9.5. We had installed v0.9.4.1 and did not have any problems at all. Our website is configured to work on port 80 and 443 and for some reason, it doesn’t updates cache, only on port 80 version, after a recent post is published.

Is there any solution for this issue?

Thanks, Carlos.

Hello.

First of all thanks for a great plugin.

After Update to 0.9.5 I can no longer upload to Amazon Cloudfront and get an error “request failed”.

Also, I had issues uploading new images and get an “http” Error in my Media Manager.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Thanks

Rollback to support php 5.2.* version

Hi. The last update 0.9.5.1 fixed some a problem with WP security compatability( login captcha ) with php version on website higher-equal than 5.3. But if I have a server with php version under 5.3 (5.2.6), and i can not change it unfortunately due to no rights to do it. Is there a possibility to rollback the plugin to previous version?(tried with WP Rollback, but do not give an option to rollback to earlier version)
Thanks.

New version 0.9.5.1, same issues!

Just installed the new version version 0.9.5.1, hoping that my reported issues will be fixed, but unfortunately this is not the case.

Still not possible to save anything on the minify page:
403
Forbidden
Access to this resource on the server is denied!

Nor does “emtpy only disk cache(s) work:
is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Might have to wait for another fix in order to be able to use such basic functions again.

Setting non-blocking minify JS causes RoyalSlider to break

Seems quite a common issue after Googling, but here’s my issue anyway.

I only have Minify turned on, and is set to auto.
When JS settings is set to default (blocking), the RoyalSlider on the homepage works fine.

However, any other setting (non-blocking by JS, async or defer) will cause the slider to just show a black space, along with the dreaded console error: Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

In the footer where the JS file is, directly below it is the initiation script for the slider, so it seems that somewhere in the minified JS File, the jQuery call is being knocked out.

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.origin-psychics.com/wp-content/cache/minify/2fb2f.js"></script>

<script id="new-royalslider-init-code" type="text/javascript">
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
	$('.new-royalslider-1').royalSlider({template:'default',image_generation:{lazyLoading:!0,imageWidth:'',imageHeight:'',thumbImageWidth:'',thumbImageHeight:''},thumbs:{thumbWidth:96,thumbHeight:72},autoPlay:{enabled:!0,delay:5000,stopAtAction:!1},block:{moveOffset:20,speed:400,delay:200},width:'100%',height:'',autoScaleSlider:!0,autoScaleSliderWidth:4,autoScaleSliderHeight:1,slidesSpacing:0,imageScaleMode:'fill',imageScalePadding:0,transitionType:'fade',transitionSpeed:1000,loop:!0,randomizeSlides:!0});
});
</script>

Site in question is http://www.origin-psychics.com – Is there anything I can do here?

After I upgraded W3TC plugin to 0.9.5 and 0.9.5.1 my site is broken.

This is the errors that cause the disfunction in some areas:
– Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
– Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘fn’ of undefined

My carroussel is broken and some other areas.

How can I solve this without disabling W3TC?

Thank you.

Purge page cache on query string pages not working (w3tc & fix-w3tc)

Hi all,

I enabled the “Cache URIs with query string variables” option to enable page caching on query string pages. The cache method I am using is disk (basic).

Page caching is working properly but when I try to purge the cache (on query string pages) it is not working. Purging the caching on pages without query strings is working fine.

In order to fix the problem I already tried the fix-w3tc (community driven build) version of w3tc. unfortunately this does not solve the problem.

It would be really great if someone can help me.

Best regards,

Tim

Next button in Cloudflare Zone selection Not Working

Replies: 1

Hello,

We are trying to add out CloudFlare credentials and select the correct zone for a multisite install using W3 Total Cache with setting for individual sites. Not the entire network. To do this we need to connect our CloudFlare account for each site. All of our sites are under the same CloudFlare account, so we need to select the correct zone to link to. The issue is that the “Next” button displaying the list of the sites we have added to CloudFlare does not display the next set of sites, so we are unable to choose the correct zone. Is this something that can be fixed?

Author must revert changes

The “fixes” in 0.9.5.1 are simply not enough. The version before 0.9.5 worked and worked well. The author must simply admit that the changes made in 0.9.5 were a failure and roll the code all the way back to the previous version, THEN rethink everything that happened with 0.9.5. This is the only equitable solution to the issue(s) caused, unless he simply wants people to move on from this plugin to someone else’s. There’s no excuse for leaving this mess as the current version of the product….NONE.

Version 0.9.5.1’s changelogs says that AMP is now supported.

But it’s still loading minified css/js files in AMP pages.

The latest W3 caused significant issues with my website. After the update the site displayed a large white box that obscured all content. Deactivating W3 cache broke the website, renaming the plugin folder wasn’t enough, I had to actually delete the entire plugin folder.

I’m just posting this in case someone else is having a similar problem and is scratching their head over it.
