I deleted my newrelic application first & then headed over to w3tc to disable it but I can’t find any option to disable it. It is also giving me an error:

New Relic is not running correctly

Maybe because I no more have that application.

Hello,

Your new update is still not fixing all issues and messing up the site.

Now I have tried to clear all the cache of my website and it looks like an empty website without appearance, menu… only the content display on the background image.

Therefore I deactivate your plugin until you fix it.

Anyone knows a better cache plugin ?

Updated today 10/1/2016. Crashed my site entirely, including access to the Admin area. Kept giving me “fatal error” messages, referencing “line 99”, but since I have no idea what that might mean, I disabled the plug-in via FTP and things are back to normal except no W3 Total Cache… 🙁 Will wait for a fix.

I’m also having major minify problems that didn’t exist previously.

Is there a way to get to the Help feature while running in automatic mode to select scripts to exclude, rather than going manual and trying to figure out which to exclude?

Am I just not seeing it somewhere?

It seems odd the assist is only there for the additive method, and not a subtractive one. The latter seems like it would be a better alternative approach.

I see several other posts with the same issues, tried several of the mentioned fixes and have the same results as others.
If I rename the WP3 and try and update WP Touch I get:

Please re-install plugin or remove /home/topcoat/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php. {“success”:true,”data”:{“update”:”plugin”,”slug”:”wptouch-pro”,”oldVersion”:”Version 4.1.7″,”newVersion”:”Version 4.3.2″,”plugin”:”wptouch-pro\/wptouch-pro.php”,”pluginName”:”WPtouch Pro”}}

Right now I have them both disabled and waiting for a fix, thanks

W3TC Update Crashes Sites

Hello-

I would like to request assistance on resolving an issue I have when trying to update the W3TC plugin.

I attempted to update the W3TC plugin for both of my sites (www.kayakauthority.com and http://www.hiydrate.com) which subsequently caused a white screen for both the wordpress dashboards and the websites.

My host provider Bluehost uploaded the previous saved files for the website before I attempted to update the plugin so I could get access to the dashboard again. I had to manually activate each plugin again except I did not activate the W3TC plugin because I was told by Bluehost to contact the W3TC plugin developer before updating the plugin. Of note, the W3TC crash and reset caused both Jetpack and Yoast plugins to crash the sites when trying to update the plugins which Bluehost had to make some changes to so they would work properly. They were not sure why it was doing this to the sites.

If I were to activate the W3TC plugin, what do I need to do properly to make sure it does not cause the same thing again to happen to the sites? It currently says in the plugin dashboard I can either activate Version 0.9.4.1 or there is a new version of W3 Total Cache available 0.9.5.1.

My sites use Genesis 2.4.1. Thanks.

Hi, I received today a new updated of W3 Total Cache and in the new features said that it included a new AMP extension.

I’ve installed the new W3 Total Cache update, but in its extensions there’s nothing about AMP.

Where is the new AMP extension?

Hello,

So today I updated to the latest w3tc and my site became completely unusable.
This is the error I get:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_get() in /var/www/mysite.com/wp-includes/option.php:1117\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-includes/option.php(1013): get_network_option(0, 'w3tc_state', false)\n#1 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ConfigState.php(67): get_site_option('w3tc_state')\n#2 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Dispatcher.php(53): W3TC\\ConfigState->__construct(true)\n#3 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Dispatcher.php(39): W3TC\\Dispatcher::config_state_master()\n#4 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ConfigCompiler.php(256): W3TC\\Dispatcher::config_state()\n#5 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ConfigCompiler.php(128): W3TC\\ConfigCompiler->upgrade(Array)\n#6 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Config.php(370): W3TC\\ConfigCompiler->load()\n#7 /var/www/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Config.php(344): W3TC\\Config->loa in /var/www/mysite.com/wp-includes/option.php on line 1117

I run PHP 7.0.11 on Centos7. Note that the previous version of w3tc seemed to work fine. The error is from a completely new w3tc install.

Update took site down

After the recent update, I started getting http 500 errors whenever I tried loading my site. Couldn’t access wordpress dashboard. I tried deactivating the plugin by renaming the w3-total-cache folder, which worked momentarily and I thought it fixed it. But after a few successful loads the error is still happening.

On some attempts to load the site I would get this message:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove […]advanced-cache.php. W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove […]db.php W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove […]object-cache.php.

So I deleted the entire plugin folder and it didn’t make a difference. I am still getting error 500. Once in a while I get bad gateway timeout.

What else can I do now that I’ve deleted the plugin?

“Upload attachments” doesn’t upload all attachments

I just installed the latest version of W3 Total Cache and tried to configure it to use AWS/Cloudfront/S3 for CDN. There’s a handy button for uploading the media files to AWS. When I click it, the plugin correctly shows that there are 1625 total media library attachments. That number matches the items in the media library.

When it’s done processing (under 4 minutes, it shows that it uploaded 1660 images. There are no images listed in the “Unsuccessful File Transfers”. This is well below what it should have uploaded given that there are multiple sizes of each image. In the end, though, many images aren’t displayed properly in the site when I activate the use of the CDN because those missing images aren’t in the S3 bucket.

Any idea what’s going on here? Please help!

Updating to 0.9.5.* shows characters on website

Upon updating to 0.9.5.* from 0.9.4.1 my website shows very weird (compression?) characters as seen here.
After reading the support forum I upgraded PHP version to the latest 5.6, but it’s still not working. Previously I have had no issue whatsoever with the plugin, but it is as soon as the 0.9.5.* update is installed that the problems occur.

Disabling Gzip compression in the settings makes no change and GTMetrix shows that Gzip is disabled, so there is no other setting or plugin interfering.

Any known solutions?

The problem appears on multisite (network) installation path based.

I have different site on some path, eg.:

http://yoursite.com/en/
http://yoursite.com/fr/

If try to flush a page (not a post) from admin bar Performance > Page Modules > Page cache: current page, eg.:

http://yoursite.com/fr/mypage/

delete() on Cache_File_Generic.php try to delete:

/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/_index.html
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/_index.html_gzip
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php/_index.htm
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php/_index.html_gzip
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/feed/_index.html
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/feed/_index.html_gzip

requested page:

/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/fr/mypage/_index.html
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/fr/mypage/_index.html_gzip

are not in the list and the list has some mistake:

/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php/_index.htm
/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/yoursite.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php/_index.html_gzip

Recent plugin update to the latest version caused some issue

Hi,

I have recently updated W3 TC plugin to the latest version and what I’ve noticed that it kinda changed the way NewRelic monitoring works in WP Multisite… I am still able to monitor my site’s AMP and Browser metrics but I am no longer able to monitor my sites individually. However, in the dashboard of W3 TC plugin I no longer see new relic metric data. It says “An error occurred: and that’s it. I tried to re-configure it but the issue persists.

Second of all, I am getting tuns of these PHP warnings after the update :

Oct 03, 08:59:28 PHP Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 4655
Oct 03, 08:59:28 PHP Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 4652

Can you please help or give me some hints to solve those low priority issues.

Thanks in advance

I’ve been using this plugin for lots of server side caching; just wanted to start minifying my js and css. The css minification works ok but the js does not.
I get the following error.
