In my wp-content folder, I have another folder named “1cache”. Was this folder created by W3 total cache? I currently don’t have any cache plugins installed, but did have W3 total cache until it recently caused issues with my site.

Browser cache problems

Hi there,
i did some page speed tests on the internet and found out that my site has some loading issues. One of them could be sped up by using browser cache. When i try to enable the browser cache i get this error:
W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.
Please execute commands manually View required changes
or use FTP form to allow W3 Total Cache make it automatically.
I know that i should be checking my rights in ftp but they are all set correctly to 755 and htacces to 644. If i check the required changes it comes up with this.
Execute next commands in a shell:
cp /home/xxx/domains/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/wp-content/object-cache.php /home/xxx/domains/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php
I would like some help here 🙂

Automatically upload plugins and themes updated to CDN

Hi, first of all, thanks for this plugin. It’s very helpful and easy to use. I love it!
I have one concern: I’m responsible for maintaining a widely variety of WordPress installations and every time I update plugins and themes I have to go admin by admin to ask W3 Total Cache to re-upload files to CDN.
I’m wondering if it would be possible (and safe) to create a hook to trigger W3 Total Cache uploads when updates are finished. What’s your thought on that?

Object Cache, save_post action, and ACF repeater fields

Hi,
I’m seeing what appears to be a compatibility issue between W3 Total Cache 0.9.5.2 and Advanced Custom Fields Pro 5.5.10. At the time of writing these are both at their latest versions. I have a repeater type field with sub fields which are not populated with the saved data during a save_post callback, priority 10 or higher. If I disable W3TC, or specifically the W3TC object cache (Memcached or Disk), I can access the repeater fields in the save_post callback but when the object cache is enabled the fields always return empty.
Because of a limitation with the environment that I’m working in I need access to the repeater fields in the save_post callback.
Has anyone else run into this issue and have you found a fix?

How to add a plugin to cache exception?

Hello!
I use W3TC on my WordPress 4.7.3. Everything is fine, except that it gets in conflict with one of the plugins (WP Polls).
The plugin caches/minifies its data itself.
So, when both plugins are active, the users who try to vote in my site polls or view polls results, get “Fail to verify referer” error.
So, my question is, how can I add that plugin to W3TC cache exceptions?

Trying to cache to s3 and clone sites

I’m using multisite w3 total cache with AWS S3 to hold all my wordpress assets. I’m also using the MultiSite Clone Duplicator plugin to clone an existing template site already with assets for a new customer. The site gets cloned, but none of the assets make it up to w3 S3, even if I clien on the “export media library” button in the core wordpress site. Any ideas why this might happen?
NOTE: All sites other than the core wordpress site show “community” mode without export media library options.
I’m using
WordPress 4.7.3
PHP 5.3.29
Overall I need to be able to park assets in S3 and easily close sites. If there is a better solution, I’m all ears.

Caching problem W3 Total Cache and Thrive Leads

Hi, I have install Thrive Leads and W3 total cache.
I use a lightbox and also a ribbon. If i don’t use “Lazy Loading” option, the form appears every time, also if i set “Every 7 days”. (this problem is present only in some browser)
If i use “Lazy Loading” option, the form works well, it appears only one time. But after a certain period of time, i try a private session on another PC and it does not appear ever again, not once.
If i purge the cache from w3 total cache, it works well again, but only for a certain period of time. Then it does not appear ever again as said before
How can i resolve this problem?

White screen after update ever since ver 0.9.4.1+

Hi, ever since last autumn every single update I tried to perform lead to a white screen. I couldn’t even access my dashboard anymore and had to delete the plugin via FTP access.
The last version that works without causing that problem is: 0.9.4.1
As I have not the slightest idea why the plugin stopped working for me after that version, I’d like to re-install that version.
However, I can’t seem to find a download link for this older version.
Could anybody help me with either of these problems?

CSS media queries

Is there a way for W3TC to consider CSS media queries such as in the following:
<link rel=’stylesheet’href=’http://…’ type=’text/css’ media='(max-width: 1150px)’ />
Now, when activating CSS minification, all css gets bundled together irrespective of the media query. Of course this causes issues with responsiveness of the site.
I know I could of course exclude them from minification but that would cause me to loose some of the W3TC functionality.

SSL and Non SSL cached pages

Hello
i have recently ran in to a problem reported by some people in a website where a new paged published in https would not appear in http as the https and http cahced pages are in different folders/locations.Indeed in the folder cache i have found 2 subdirectories <domain> and <domain>https that presumably store the cached pages for the SSL and non SSL versions, is that correct? Woould there be a workaround this issue?

W3 Total Cache On Mobile

I’m using W3 Total Cache and it is working great on my website and some other devices however on some mobile devices it is breaking the menu even though it has been excluded from being minified. Can you tell me how to fix this?

CloudFare not listed

In the “Performance>General Steetings>CDN>CDN Type” drop-down list CloudFare is not a listed option.
Therefore the “Performance>CDN” menu does not allow configuration with CloudFare credentials.
So, how do I configure W3 Total Cache to use my CloudFare account and API key?
