If I turn on the passive mode in the cdn tab, then it still tries to connect in active mode.

Howdy friends,
I am using with extreme satisfaction w3tc + cloudflare for my wp site. It works, better than expected. Problem: I have on some pages big images, I made a PHP code to serve smaller images on mobile. Problem is that mobiles receive the cached version with big images.
– I want to use images and not DIV for SEO purposes, I want them to be indexed.
– I could use CSS and override the imc src or use JS to deliver smaller imgs to mobiles, but they would still have to download the big images first.
What can I do to serve mobile smaller images on cached pages?

Hi,
When I run a Google PageSpeed test, it tells me there are several CSS files that are render-blocking resources. They all originate in wp-content/cache/minify. For instance, one of them is wp-content/cache/minify/9e982.css. They are absolutely massive and take up a lot of space. What are these exactly? Are the combinations of all the pre-existing CSS files? Is there a way to make them have less of an impact on my site load time?

Hi,
I have enabled cloundfront CDN using W3 total cache, and got it working.
Although, I noticed that Icons used on the website are now broken, you can see it on our home page (the squares next to MainNav items) and the arrows from my Slider, at the very bottom our social media Icons as well, even the scroll up the page button.
Please help me include these items to be served by CDN. cheers

Hi,
I discussed about the blur images with you previously, that issue is resolved. It was because of image optimization plugin.
Now the problem is when I’m applying setting for w3 total cache, it is unable to write and execute files.
for now I’m unable to see any thing in w3tc folder in my website.
Plus if i allow w3tc folder(whole folder) to write and execute files, it breaks my website completely. All the layout everything.

I can confirm that modules are installed on the server
I also get a problem with this web site that nothing can’t be written or deleted from the page_enhanced folder so cache can’t be cleared but the other domain on this server directory is ok and I can clear the cache.
I think that there is somehow a problem with Permissions or ownership of a file on this if I try to delete or do something I get Permission denied.

Hello,
I notice today that the latest WPML post translation wasn’t live. The original post in english was publish and only after the translations were done through WPML. With translations completed, cache wasn’t purged and the translated posts weren’t live. Only after manually purged the cache it appear online.
How can I fix this behaviour and purge cache automatically after WPML translations are completed?

When I enable page caching I experience an error that I can no longer reach my wordpress homepage from my subdomains.
My wordpress site is hosted in http://www.wapititravel.com/blog
I have created a subdomain blog.wapititravel.com.
A-records ensure that also https://www.wapititravel.com directly redirects to the blog.
All works fine until I enable page caching. I don’t see any other issues. When I directly go to a blog post this seems to work fine, only those “redirects” are affected.
Disabling front page caching doesn’t help.
My DNS is managed by Cloudflare.
At this point I have no clue where to look, it would be great if you could point me in the correct direction.

I’m planning to upgrade to PHP7.3 some time next week. I’ll be doing testing in the first half of the week, but just want to check upfront whether W3TC is compatible with PHP7.3?
I know I saw some errors recently (on 0.9.7) relating to count() in relation to PHP7.2 – but I assume that’s all resolved as part of 0.9.7.2 now (I haven’t actually checked my logs yet!)

We moved our wp-config.php one level up outside of root for security reasons, W3 Total Cache can’t install because it can’t find it there to make changes, so even if I make the changes manually it won’t work. How can I “tell” W3 Total Cache to look for wp-config.php one level up?

For a week I have had the following problem with Browser Cache, which never had before (I did not change anything). The problem occures in Chrome, Firefox, edge.
If browser cache is enabled, for the first time page load or sometimes even second one the results are sometimes as the following:
– error – wrong page coding, cannot connect to server
– blank page
– page incorrecly rendered
After reload or two everything works perfect. Most pages load correctly for the first time but the problem is random, do not refer to any specific page 100% sure.
Now I disabled the browser cache via W3TC no to lose traffic on my blog.
I will apracciate any help, but it looks like it’s 100% W3TC plugin problem.

Since some time (I think after upgrade to WordPress 5.1) the W3TC plugin does not work with WP-CLI (or either way, the WP-CLI does not work with W3TC).
When trying to run WP-CLI commands I get:

When I disable W3TC it works fine.

For an opimized combination, I need my HTML Hearder Vary to be :
vary: Accept-Encoding
Instead of vary: X-Forwarded-Proto,Accept-Encoding as it is right now on my pages.
Is there an option to check/unchek in W3 Total Cache to change it ?

Is there any way for me to view what is being PUT/POST’ed via W3TC into my S3 bucket recently?
I’ve just had my highest AWS bill ever through, where I had a total of over 5.5 MILLION PUT, COPY, POST or LIST requests. The only thing that has changed in the last month – I setup a single, small folder on my server to upload to S3 via W3TC.
I would have expected this volume of requests for GET, but for PUT… I’ve not uploaded anything in the last month to validate this! I have one folder set to send content up to S3, which contains a grand total of 146 files (approximately only 15 have changed two separate times in the last month).
The _only_ thing I can think is that for some reason, for every cron job that runs, W3TC is nuking whatever exists in S3 already (cdn purging?) and then re-uploading _every single time_? Or force overwriting every single time?

I am using WordPress 5.1 and yes I know W3TC is “only” tested till 5.0.3
I don’t know if this issue is already known, since I didn’t find anything, but when I was in my network I got some fatal errors (one followed another after clean up)
Cannot redeclare wp_cache_reset in object-cache.php has been the first, then wp_cache_add and so on. They had been already declared in cache.php. So I commented out all the functions it mentioned in the cache.php file and it worked. I am no developer, so I do not know if that was the smartest solutions, but it was the one that helped me right now.
So, for one, my network itself had this issue. Secondly only one site in my network had a Server error 500. Can someone explain to me, why it only affected that one site?

Hi there,
We recently installed W3 Total Cache and is working great. However we having an issue with logins.
Users are able to log into the site on any page except the home page. When we try log/sign up into the site on the home page it accepts the password and user name, refreshes the page but does not log in. When I use the same credentials on a different page it logs in just fine.
Is there any settings that we should disable to fix this problem?

Hi,
I’m setting up CF with W3TC without hosting minified files on S3.
When I load the page the file is hit from CF but is served by my website because of a 301 redirect to my original file.
for example from GT Metrix I get this:
