After updating our theme (VidoRev WordPress Premium Theme) I am getting Fatal error. when i contacted to our developers then they told me that his error is because your W3 Total Cache plugin has changed this WordPress hook. Changing the original hook is not recommended! So what should i do to fix the problem.

$result = apply_filters( ‘get_pagenum_link’, $result, $pagenum );
https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_pagenum_link/

Error Code:

Images not displaying after clearing Cache

Hello,
I cleared all Page Cache for the first time via W3 Total Cache, because I was troubleshooting another issue.

After clearing my page did not display all the pictures as usual. Some were missing and most pages were disfigured.
I edited a page in my Chrome Browser (with browser cache still on and seeing all the images) and there were no issues. I checked the permalinks and they were matching.

Then I went on to edit a faulty page in another browser and could not save the page. I got
“Unable to complete action
Could not pase respronse. W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/www/wordpress/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.”
Full error message: https://www.iamfasting.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Fehler-W3-Total-Cache.png

When I disable W3 Total Cache, everything works normally. Deleting and reinstalling produced the same issue.

What are steps to solve this issue? I hope it is a quick fix in the plugin itself. Right now I deactivated the plugin. I did not remoe /advanced-cache.php until now.

Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards,
Sven

After enabling minification settings, an important inline CSS code which was written by me in Appearance >> Customize >> Custom CSS section is deleted and also I tried deactivating the plugin, but it didn’t fix the or reverted the deleted code and the effect of lost code. I even tried writing the custom CSS again but it is not applying. What am I supposed to do?
The issue is the sub menu links color was black, hover color as #ff6334 and current menu as #ff6334. Now, the sub menu is whole white. https://prnt.sc/umw9su

Please, look into this and let me know the fix.

Feature Request: Disable translation

$

Replies: 2

Hi,

The plugin automatically translates into WordPress’ native language. In my case that is not English.
However I much prefer to use the W3 Total Cache in English, since that makes implementing tips and tricks from various international resources on the web so much easier.
This is the same the other way around: people from other countries -understandably- cannot read for instance my screenshots.
Maybe you guys sometimes run into the same problem when giving support?

So my question is: is it possible to create a feature toggle to disable translations?
(My apologies if this already exists, I have done a thorough look in all the settings but couldn’t find it anywhere).

Regards,
Rob

Using “w3 total cache” I found this problem: when I try to switch account (I am using the OceanWP theme login popup) I get the message “Session expired, please reload the page and try again”
After clearing all caches, the problem disappears.

Is there any option to solve this?

Trying to access array offset on value of type null
w3-total-cache\PageSpeed_Widget_View_FromApi.php
on line 50 and 48

It looks like something to do with PageSpeed, I’m running from localhost so the wordpress url is: http://10.0.0.1 and I’m testing a lot of plugins and this error log really make the job harder will it also happen on paid hosting? maybe it has something to do with another plugin I have installed with the same name? https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-pagespeed-insights/

Hey, I’ve enabled CSSTidy and HTMLTidy recently and found these errors in my WordPress error log (debug.log)
In the compatibility check, I have all the required modules and extensions, I also have tidy enabled
PHP version: 7.4.9

PHP Deprecated: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\lib\CSSTidy\class.csstidy.php

PHP Deprecated: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in C:\wamp\www\wp-content\plugins\w3-total-cache\lib\CSSTidy\class.csstidy.php

The full error log was too big to be attached – (1,856KB)

Caching paramatarized content

Hi there,

I have a page on my WordPress site that provides the visitor dynamic content, based on parameters in the URL:
/response?ind=manufacturing&uc=cad-automation
/response?ind=building-supplies&uc=b2b2c
/response?ind=modular-building&uc=guided-selling

I aim to show unique content at every unique, parameterized URL. I found ‘Accepted query strings’ under Page cache, where I listed each and every valid combination of the URL, hoping it would cache each location independently: https://i.imgur.com/iCz1PAW.png

When I visit the page from a non-authenticated user, it seems to render only ONE version of the content – the one I viewed as an admin. It seems to cache that one version of the content.

Is there any other option or a combination of options that allows to explicitly cache specific query parameters like I’m attempting to do?

Thank you!

w3tc_monitoring_score taking 15 seconds to load

Home page is taking extended time to load (20 seconds)

When I analysed the network traffic and noticed that the wait was basically from one single call to admin-ajax.php?action=w3tc_monitoring_score which was taking > 15 seconds for TTFB.

Is there a setting I can adjust to help this process quicker?

When I check Google Chrome’s Developer tools, I see the following error message:

‘no-referrer-when-downgrade’, ‘origin’, ‘origin-when-cross-origin’,

or ‘unsafe-url’. The referrer policy has been left unchanged.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

After using the plugin W3 Total Cache, It generated a 404 image loading issue on total website every pageload. It adds extra 3-5sec load time on website.

https://prnt.sc/uq4qqw
https://prnt.sc/uq4pgp
https://prnt.sc/uq4qhx
If you need more information please use gtmetrix page speed check of “spifferda.com” under waterfall tab.

I Guess It has something to do with this option in the plugin
“Do not process 404 errors for static objects with WordPress”

Also I guess it is related to logo image of the site.
I tried many solutions like deactivating all plugins etc,but I am unable to solve it.Please help me to solve this issue Thankyou.

maintenance.php being cached

Hi, I hope someone can help me with this.
I use a maintenance.php to customize the maintenance page, as described in WordPress Codex. The file is placed in /wp-content and will only be called by WordPress when entering in maintenance mode naturally.
I don’t want it to be cached for obvious reasons.
I’ve already set the right headers, and also added “maintenance” and “maintenance.\php” to the page W3TC exception list, although it’s not really a page.
The maintenance page works fine, but it’s being cached.
How can I prevent it from being cached?

These are the headers from my maintenance.php:

$protocol = “HTTP/1.0”;
if ( “HTTP/1.1” == $_SERVER[“SERVER_PROTOCOL”] )
$protocol = “HTTP/1.1”;
header( “$protocol 503 Service Unavailable”, true, 503 );
header( “Retry-After: 600” );
header(‘Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate’);
header(‘Pragma: no-cache’);
header(‘Expires: 0’);
